Biography
In 1993, while studying for her BSc.(Hons) Degree in London Gillian successfully secured a prestigious research post in Nutrition and Heart Disease with the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Belfast. From this post she continued her studies and qualified with a Masters Degree (MSc.) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland 1997. Her specialist training was in The Charter Mark award winning Dietetic Department at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Her successful career spans throughout Hospitals in Northern Ireland, specialising in; Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Cancer and laterly the Lead Specialist Dietitian for the Regional Haematology Unit at BCH. After starting a family, Gillian decided to set up her Dietetic Consultancy Service in 2008 to be able to blend her wealth of knowledge with family life and her company now works across the UK, Ireland and worldwide via clinics and Skype.

Irritable Bowel Disease, FODMAP (KCL q.2011), Coeliac, IBD, malabsorption, food intolerance. Health and Well-Being - fatigue, diet/nutrient assessment, inflammatory/auto-immune conditions Sports Nutrition at all levels (pro- athletes: cyclists, golfers, motorsports, triathletes) Weight Management programmes - for health benefits or specific conditions: Diabetes, fertility, orthopaedics, pre-surgery.
