Christopher Langley

Biography

Christopher Langley is a highly experienced CEO, Chairman, and NED with a strong track record in both the retail and healthcare sectors. Christopher started his career in 1981 selling cameras and video equipment in an electronics store in London. Some years later he went on to run Dixons, a leading European electronics retailer, where he held the post of Managing Director of the Dixons chain (EUR 1 billion sales, 340 stores) for four years. More recently, Christopher was appointed by Monitor, the Hospitals regulator, as Turnaround Chairman where he led three acute hospitals through an extensive transformation programme and strategic review. He was also CEO of Asteral Ltd, a market leading outsource supplier of radiology equipment and facilities infrastructure.
