Biography
I joined the Optimisation and Control team of IBM Research Dublin in September 2015 as a Research Software Engineer. My focus as part of this position has been on information retrieval, semantics, natural language processing (NLP) problems, Internet of Things (IoT), and automotive. Prior to joining IBM, I worked at the Coastal and Marine Research Centre (CMRC) of University College Cork, from 2006 to 2015. My research interests there were in the areas of geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial standards, (semantic) interoperability, semantic web (SW), and ontologies.
