Biography
Robert Zafari serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO on Ingersoll Rand’s growth strategies and plans in the Industrial businesses, having announced his retirement in 2018. Robert also serves as the senior sponsor for the Latin America region and India, to leverage regional support functions, talent and processes for the success of Ingersoll Rand as a whole. Robert joined the company in 2000 in the Productivity Solutions business. He served as president of Compact Vehicle Technologies, Security Technologies and Climate Solutions in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA), before becoming president of the Industrial Technologies sector in 2010. In 2014, he was named executive vice president for the Industrial segment, overseeing our Industrial businesses around the world.
