Biography
Renée J. James currently serves as an operating executive for The Carlyle Group, a global alternative asset manager. In January 2016, James concluded a 28-year career with Intel Corporation, where she most recently served as president. In her tenure at Intel, she oversaw the company’s strategic expansion into providing proprietary and open source software and services for applications in enterprise, security, and cloud-based computing. James is vice chair of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee to the President of the United States. She also serves as a director of Citigroup Inc., Sabre Corporation, and Vodafone Group Plc, and previously served as a director of VMware Inc.
