Biography
Dr. Laura Coffey received her BA (Hons) in Psychology from University College Dublin and MPsychSc in Health Psychology from the National University of Ireland, Galway. In 2012, she completed her PhD on psychosocial adjustment to lower limb amputation at the School of Nursing and Human Sciences, Dublin City University, where she worked as a postdoctoral researcher for three years prior to her appointment as Lecturer in Psychology at Maynooth University. She is Co-Investigator on the project ‘Self-Management in Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Survivors: Living Well With and Beyond HNC' (Principal Investigator: Prof. Pamela Gallagher), funded by the Health Research Board, Medical Research Charities Group and Irish Cancer Society (December 2013-present).
