Biography
Professor Sinéad McGilloway is Founding Director of the Centre for Mental Health and Community Research (formerly the Mental Health and Social Research Unit), which is located in Maynooth University Department of Psychology. Professor McGilloway leads a team of almost 20 staff and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute (MU SSI) and one of its leading Principal Investigators. She is a research innovator/leader, educationalist, public health/community psychologist and health services researcher, with many years’ experience in undertaking applied health and social care research in the community, with a particular focus on mental health and well-being across the lifespan.
