Biography
Joseph C. Maroon, M.D., was appointed to the board of directors of Mylan in 2003. He is also a member of Mylan's Compliance and Governance and Nominating Committees and chair of the Science and Technology Committee. Maroon has more than 30 years of experience as a practicing neurosurgeon. He is regarded as a premier specialist in the surgical treatment of injuries and diseases of the brain and spine, particularly with microscopic and minimally invasive procedures. His research into brain tumors, concussions and diseases of the spine has led to many innovative techniques for diagnosing and treating these disorders.
