Biography
Aodhdín Casey a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland having completed her articles 1996. Her practice experience ranges from small (for the duration of her articles) to large firms (KPMG post qualification). She also has extensive industry experience at a senior management level for an Irish subsidiary of a large multi-national software provider. Aodhdín joined Maynooth as a lecturer in 2008 while continuing to work in industry and lectures in Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Financial Management. Since becoming a full-time member of staff in Maynooth University she has pursued her research interest in the changing nature of service provision within accountancy practices.
