Biography
Chris van Egeraat lectures economic geography at the Department of Geography, National University of Ireland, Maynooth. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Development Geography from Utrecht University and a PhD from DCU Business School. He has worked as a research officer at the Economic and Social Research Institute and Dublin City University Business School, as a post-doctoral researcher at UCD and as a Research Fellow at NIRSA, NUI Maynooth. His research interests and publications focus on the production/innovation networks and regional economic development. He is a member of the NIRSA Board and Chair of the Regional Studies Association, Irish Branch.
