Research Interest
The research of this laboratory focuses on the evolution of unicellular microorganisms paying special attention to fungal and oomycete species. We use genome sequencing, transcriptomics, proteomics, comparative genomics, phylogenomics, phylogenetics and synteny based tools to elucidate gene and genome evolution. We are particularly interested in phytopathogens.
