Biography
Dr. O'Dea (B.Sc., University College Dublin; Ph.D., Dublin City University, 1995) received a Marie Curie Fellowship and a Salvesen Fellowship to work at Edinburgh University (1997-2001) before coming to NUI Maynooth as a Science Foundation Ireland-funded investigator. She was appointed Lecturer in the Biology Department, NUIM in 2005 and Senior Lecturer in 2012. Dr. O'Dea is co-founder, Director and CSO of the spin-out company, Profector Life Sciences (2011).
