Fionnuala Doris

Biography

Fionnuala Doris joined Maynooth University as a lecturer in accounting in 2005. Fionnuala holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Dublin City University. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland having completed her accountancy training with PWC. Prior to joining Maynooth University, she worked for a number of years both as an audit manager in PWC’s Asset Management group and as a financial controller in industry. Fionnuala lectures in the areas of Audit & Assurance and Management Accounting. She is undertaking a PhD in the National University of Ireland, Galway under the supervision of Dr. Emer Curtis and her research interests are in Audit Practices and Corporate Governance.
