Biography
Hilary Qualter is a lecturer in Accounting, lecturing mainly in the area of taxation.Having graduated with a B.Comm degree from University College Galway, she completed her accountancy training with Deloittes. Prior to joining Maynooth University she spent a number of years working in practice and industry specialising in the financial services sector. She is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and is currently undertaking a PhD at the National University of Ireland, Galway under the supervision of Dr. Emer Mulligan. Her current research interests are in the practice and processes of tax policy development.
