Biography
Dr. Patricia Gough completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Dundee and an M.Sc. in Evolutionary Psychology at the University of Liverpool. In 2006 she completed a D.Phil in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. Following this she was a Postdoctoral researcher at Oxford for two years and at the Dept of Neuroscience, University of Parma, Italy for three years. She has been appointed to a 5 year lectureship in Psychology at the National University of Ireland Maynooth from 2013.
Research Interest
The representation of language in the brain and more specifically in the role the motor system may play in language processing.
