Biography

I joined the Education Department as Senior Technician in 1989. Prior to that I worked in Carysfort College of Education where I joined the staff in 1979 in my role as Audio Visual Technician rising to the position of Senior Technician prior to it's closure in 1986. I attended Kevin St College of Technology from 1972 where I initially trained as a Marine Radio Officer, however I realized a life at sea was not for me and I moved into the Telecommunications Technicians course. In 1975 I attended an intensive general electronics course at Anco (FAS) Ballyfermot and the outcome of this was employment in the private sector in audio visual and television servicing. At the same time I studied Radio, Television and Electronics at Kevin St until I took up my position at Carysfort College.
