Biography
Anna-Louise Hinds holds a Bachelor of Corporate Law and an LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) degree from N.U.I., Galway and an LL.M. (European Law) from the College of Europe, Bruges. She was an Assistant Lecturer in Law for one year at the Dublin Institute of Technology, where she taught Constitutional Law and the Law of Tort before joining the Law School at the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2001.
Research Interest
Anna-Louise’s research interests lie currently in the area of competition law, particularly procedural and enforcement aspects of competition law and the extent to the European Commission's competition enforcement procedures respect principles of due process, the interpermeability of procedural and substantive rules of competition law, the impact of law enforcement on compliance with the law, regulatory theory and the issue of optimal law enforcement in the context of competition law.
