Biography
Lhara has been teaching on the BA Social Care Programme since 2012 and co-ordinates year 1 of this programme. Previously Lhara worked in the HSE with older people in the community from 2006-2013. Lhara has a BA in Social Care (Hons) (2010) and an MA in Social Work (2012) both from NUIG. Lhara completed the CELT postgraduate certificate in teaching and learning in NUIG in 2015.
Research Interest
child protection, crisis intervention training, responding to sexual abuse, diversity in the workplace, caring for older people, and supporting victims of domestic abuse.
