Biography
Frank Drewalowski was born on 21 April 1965 in Mölln, Germany. In 1990 he completed a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. This was followed with a Diploma in Industrial Engineering at The University of Applied Sciences, Kiel, Germany in 1993. Professional career Frank Drewalowski’s professional career began at Olympus in 1993 when he became an Assistant Product Manager in the International Endoscopy Department. In 2000, after spending about a year as Department Manager, Service & Sales Management with Olympus France, he returned to Olympus Medical Systems Europa GmbH in Hamburg to take on the role of Department Manager GI/EUS/BF and Service Marketing Division. Several promotions followed, and starting from 2006 he was appointed Managing Director Medical in the DACH region in parallel to his European role as General Manager Medical Endoscopy & Surgical. In 2009 Frank Drewalowski was made Regional Managing Director Medical, Microscopy and Consumer Business, Olympus Deutschland GmbH, with responsibility for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. And in April 2011 he was appointed Managing Director Medical Systems Division and Micro Imaging Solutions Division at Olympus Europa SE & CO. KG.
