Brian Newman

Biography

Brian Newman is Executive Vice President, Global Operations of PepsiCo, a global food and beverage company with net revenues of over $63 billion and a product portfolio that includes 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. PepsiCo’s main businesses also make hundreds of other enjoyable foods and beverages that are respected household names throughout the world. Brian oversees global operations and supply chain, global procurement, global security, global productivity initiatives, risk management and global transformation. A 23-year PepsiCo veteran, he has held various finance and strategy leadership roles across many of PepsiCo's businesses. After beginning his PepsiCo career in Corporate Strategy in 1993, Brian assumed several leadership positions, including Global Head, e-Commerce; CFO, Global Groups; Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy; Senior Vice President and CFO, PepsiCo China; Corporate Treasurer, Pepsi Bottling Group; CFO, PepsiCo Beverages Russia; CFO and Vice President Strategy, PepsiCo Beverages Canada; and Vice President, Business Development, Pepsi Bottling Group Europe. Across these roles, Brian has had responsibility for P&L, Tax, Treasury and Control & Planning functions across many of the company’s major businesses and markets. He also helped architect and manage key M&A initiatives as well as the formation of several integral international joint ventures.A dual citizen of Ireland and the United States, Brian serves on the boards of Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and Part of the Solution (POTS), an organization assisting individuals living in poverty. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School's Executive program.
