A. W. (bill) Homan

Biography

Mr. Homan has served as our Chief Legal Officer since 2014. Prior to joining Prothena, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Complete Genomics, Inc., a position he held from 2012 until its sale in 2013. Mr. Homan was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Varian, Inc., from 1999 until it was acquired in 2010. Prior to that, he was Associate General Counsel at Varian Associates, Inc., and also worked at a leading San Francisco law firm. Mr. Homan earned his B.A. from Virginia Tech and his J.D. from the University of Virginia. Mr. Homan has served as our Chief Legal Officer since 2014.
