Biography
Dr. Peter Fitzgerald, Ph.D., founded Randox Laboratories Ltd., in 1982 and serves as its Owner and Managing Director. Dr. Fitzgerald serves as the Chairman of Cellix Ltd. Dr. FitzGerald serves as Member of Advisory Board of Kernel Capital. In 2011, Dr. Fitzgerald was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to business in Northern Ireland. He was awarded an Honorary Degree (D.Sc. Hons.) by the University of Ulster for services to Economic Development in 2010. Dr. Fitzgerald studied for a Ph.D. at the National Institute for Medical Research, London and Biochemistry at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
