Alberto Recordati graduated in Biochemistry at the King's College of the University of London in 1977 and in 1984 he obtained a Ph.D. in the Biochemistry Department of the Charing Cross Hospital Medical School of the same university. In 1992 he was assigned the Industrial Biochemistry Department with responsibility for the biochemical / microbiological research and the biochemical / fermentative production site of Cassina de 'Pecchi. In 1995 he became Director of the Research and Chemical Technology Division. In 1999 he was appointed CEO of the fine chemical sector and in 2004 Vice President of Recordati SpA.
