Andrea Recordati

Biography

Andrea Recordati holds the Bachelor of Arts in Medieval and Modern History at the Royal Holloway and Bedford New College at the University of London. From September 1995 to March 1998 he participated in the SmithKline Beecham UK Management Access Program, starting as Assistant Product Manager in Consumer Healthcare, then covering for one year as a medical examiner in Essex, becoming Project Manager responsible for the development and implementation of an innovative SmithKline Beecham marketing initiative. He joined Recordati in 1998 by taking over the position of Project Leader for a project aimed at improving the productivity of the Forces Sales and the best use of marketing investments. Also in April 1998 he joined the Board of Directors of the Company. In 1999 he was entrusted with the responsibility of Pharmaceutical Business Development. In March 2002, Lercanidipine Business Unit was set up, of which he was appointed Head of Unit. Since November 2002, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of the set up of Recordati Ireland and its industrial plant, and subsequently the establishment of the subsidiary in the United Kingdom. In August 2007, the North American and Central Europe Directorate is set up, whose Head of Mission is appointed and subsequently extended to include all Western European companies (2010). In 2011 he was appointed Director General of the International Pharmaceutical Division. In 2013 he became Chief Operating Officer, assuming the direction of the Group's business and production activities.
