Biography
Mr. Vincenzo Maglione joined Rottapharm in 2001, after 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Since 2004 he has been the Chief Operating Officer, where he is responsible for managing Rottapharm and strategic planning, and in 2005, he was appointed as member of the Board. With effect as from the Trading Date, he will act as Chief Operating Officer of the Group. Since 2011 he has been Chairman of the Cosmetics Group in Pharmacy of Cosmetica Italia. Furthermore, he is member of the Executive Committee of Farmindustria in Italy and Spain. Before joining Rottapharm, he was Vice General Manager at Knoll Farmaceutici S.p.A. (BASF Group), where he was involved in the restructuring of multiple global business units as well as in the integration process of the company’s merger with Abbott, following its acquisition in 2000. He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Naples and a Master degree in Lipid Management from the Mayo Clinic.
