Biography
Scott leads the global intellectual property team, which is accountable for developing and implementing intellectual property strategies across all SET areas, supporting GPPS in the evaluation of new opportunities and ensuring R&D and Commercial assets are appropriately protected. The team includes IP and transactional professionals in the US, UK, Sweden, and China which are also accountable for ensuring that the IMED and MedImmune biotech business units, particularly the scientific partnering and alliance arms of those units, receive support building strategic alliances such as sponsored research agreements with academia and “early-stage” i.e. pre-phase 2 asset licensing.
