Biography
Frédérique Vallières is a Lecturer in Global Health and Psychology and the Director of the International Doctorate in Global Health Programme (INDIGO). Based in the Centre for Global Health and the School of Psychology, Frédérique's research focuses on the application of Psychology to Global Health, with a focus on Global Mental Health and Organisational Psychology. Over the last decade, Frédérique has conducted and led global health research in Canada, China, Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritania, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda. Frédérique received her BSc in Psychology from McGill University in 2006, and her MSc in Global Health (2010) and PhD in Public Health and Primary Care (2014) from Trinity College Dublin. She is currently the Principal Investigator for CONTEXT (the Collaborative Network for Training Excellence in Psychotraumatology).
