Biography
I received my first degree, an M.A. in Philosophy, Comparative Literature, and Modern History from the University of Bonn in 2009. I subsequently received an MLitt in Philosophy from the universities of St Andrews and Stirling in 2010 and a PhD in philosophy from the same universities in 2014. The title of my PhD was "Common Human Reason in Kant's Philosophy - A Study in Kant's Moral Psychology and Philosophical Method". In 2012, I was an academic visitor at the University of Notre Dame's philosophy department. From 2014 to 2016 I was a lecturer at the University of Goettingen. Since October 2016 I am an IRC funded research fellow in TCD's philosophy department and with a desk in the Trinity Long Room Hub, Arts & Humanities Research Institute.
