Biography
Dr Saturnino Luz is an Associate Professor in Computer Science in the School of Computer Science & Statistics, at Trinity College. He holds degrees in Informatics and Computer Science, and has worked on machine learning, computer supported cooperative work, health informatics and speech and language processing. At Trinity College, he has supervised PhD and Masters students, and taught courses in Information Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Human-Computer Interaction. He currently leads a basic research projects investigating techniques for information indexing and retrieval in multimedia databases, and technological support for multidisciplinary medical team meetings.
