Biography
He is Director of SABER and Reader in Infrastructure Engineering. For the last 34 years he have been involved with Civil Engineering courses at Ulster University were he now teaches subjects including highway engineering and geology. HisDoctor of Philosophy considered the Laboratory Prediction of Surfacing Aggregate Performance.
Research Interest
His academic interests are in applied research into highway engineering materials and covers a range of materials from utilising waste streams to BBA HAPAS accredited systems such as TSCS and HFS. Lately he have become interested in tyre / road interface, race track grip and 3D modelling of road surface textures.
