Biography
Deborah Fraser (nee Thomason) is both a dedicated Educator and Contemporary Practitioner. Her experience in both fields spans over twenty years and her knowledge and experience of professional engagement has enriched provision internally at Masters level within Ulster University.
Research Interest
In recognition of her course development, strengthening the links between academic enterprise and teaching and learning, Deborah was awarded a Distinguished Teaching Fellowship by the University in 2005. Exhibiting world wide she is a practicing jeweller working with a variety of both traditional and non traditional materials, predominately silver, 18ct gold and neoprene rubber. Her work stems from simplicity of process and a palette of hand skills through which materials are challenged and shaped.
