Biography
Michael Brennan joined the university as a lecturer in Management in 1996 and was appointed senior lecturer in 2009. Michael’s research and teaching interests are in the areas of Strategy, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Creativity. Michael is a member of the Higher Education Academy, and teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Michael has a primary degree in Archaeology; postgraduate qualifications in Accountancy and Business Administration (MBA); and a PhD in Entrepreneurship. After several years experience of managing an SME, Michael was appointed a management trainer in the Northern Ireland Small Business Institute before joining the faculty of Business & Management at Ulster. He has attracted significant funding from UK Research Councils and EU programmes. In addition, he had extensive experience of international consultancy in the USA and EU.
