Biography
Lecturer Business Information Systems Co-Director BSc Business Information Systems since 2013 Co-Director Health Information Systems Research Centre, University College Cork. Lectures systems analysis and design (including object-oriented approaches), data modelling, database development and opportunity assessment and recognition in high technology firms. Reviewer for a number of top journals and conferences including: European Conference on Information Systems Pacific Conference on Information Systems Australian Conference on Information Systems Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems Conference Organising Committees: European Conference on Knowledge Management European Conference on Information Systems Management (formerly ECIME) Managing Editor of the .since November 2011 and an Associate Editor since November 2015. Research Interest
Interested in investigating new opportunities to improve the availability and accessibility of valuable data/information/knowledge through the redesign of existing systems, or development and implementation of new innovative technology solutions, e.g. mobile health, data analytics and big data, in the healthcare ecosystem and other data intensive business scenarios.
