Biography
Eoin is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at University College Cork, Republic of Ireland. He is an internationally recognized expert on Irish economic development, publishing an acclaimed book on the topic for Routledge in March 2015. (). Eoin is a respected independent contributor in the national media and is regularly invited to present to policy audiences. He has over 30 full length publications including 3 papers in the high impact journal and an edited book on Irish regional development () Eoin is the first Irish person to be elected as Chair of the British and Irish section of the Regional Science Association International. He has 30 years teaching experience and a long record of consultancy for businesses and policy bodies in Ireland. Eoin has recently pioneered executive development workshops on innovation for small businesses in west Cork.
