Biography
Mr. Gerry has over thirty years investment management experience. Most recently he served as Head of Investment Management and a Director at Carne Group which he jouned from RQSI Ltd, where he focused on the development of tactical asset allocation models and conducted due diligence work on external managers for the firm's external allocation program. Previously he worked in the Central Bank of Ireland in a number of investment positions including Head of Reserve Management and was Head of Fund Management at Gandon Securities Ltd. before founding Allied Irish Capital Management Ltd., a USD 1.5 bn hedge fund. Mr. Grimes currently serves on the boards of a number of institutional funds and advises on asset management to a number of family offices. He is a graduate of UCD and a former Deputy President of AIMA, the main global representative body for the hedge fund industry.
