Biography
Noirin McCarthy is a lecturer in the School of Economics and currently teaches on the BA (Economics), Postgraduate Diploma in Economics of Business Practice and the M.Econ.Sc programmes. She is an undergraduate of University College Cork (B.Comm) and also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics and Evaluation Studies as well as a Masters Degree in Economics (M.Econ.Sc) also from University College Cork. In 2016, Noirin completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield under the supervision of Prof. Peter Wright. Her thesis is titled "." Her research interests include entrepreneurship, job churn and the labour market.
