Biography
Dr Steve O'Callaghan has been a lecturer in Finance, in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Information Systems since 2005. He was awarded his PhD from Bangor University in 2015. His research interests include corporate governance and ownership structure, with a specific focus on unlisted firms. He teaches Corporate Finance at undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA level.
Research Interest
Steve research is in the areas of corporate governance and ownership structure, with a specific focus on unlisted firms.He is currently engaged in research into how agency costs, executive remuneration and earnings management are related to ownership structure in private firms in the UK.
