PhD from the University of Bologna 2002 (Supervisor Prof. S. Sandri). Visiting student at Trinity College Dublin (2001) in Prof. Thorrfinnur Gunnlaugsson's lab. 2002-2005: Postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Paul Engel at the University College Dublin, School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science 2006. Research Interest

Immobilization of dehydrogenases on solid supports for applications in organic synthesis. Synthesis of antibiotics analogues of anticapsin and their activity screening.  Synthesis or conformationally restrained amino acids and peptides for structural investigation as well as biological evaluation.
