Biography
I have nursed people in a variety of settings both nationally and internationally. These include: medical-surgical; intensive care; haematology, liver unit and care of the older person. I have taught in nurse education at both undergraduate and post graduate level since 1996. My research areas of interest include older women's experiences of ageing and health related issues in Ireland, nurse education, cultural issues, reflective practice, communication and care of the older person.
