Biography
Dr. William Addessi is a lecturer below the bar in Macroeconomics at the University of Limerick. In the previous years he worked as assistant professor at University of Sassari, researcher at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat), and as post-doc at the University of Rome “La Sapienzaâ€. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Rome 3 in 2008 with a dissertation about Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models. In 2014 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification as associate professor in Italy. William’s primary areas of research are multi-sectoral macroeconomics, labour market, and productivity estimation. He has published in Economics Letters, Economic Modelling, B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Financial Stability and in other international academic journals.
