Aidan Duane

Biography

Aidan graduated with a PhD and an MSc in Information Systems by Research from University College Cork, Ireland's first 5* University and the Sunday Times University of the Year 2016 and 2017. Aidan is a Certified Training Professional by the Irish Computer Society, and holds professional certifications in Oracle, SAP, ERwin, and PRINCE II. Aidan is currently an active member of a number of leading international academic associations including the Irish Academy of Management, the Association of Information Systems including the Irish Chapter, and the Information Management Resources Association. As a Lecturer in Information Systems, Aidan specialises in: FinTech & Blockchain (L9), Data Modelling and Analytics (L9), Business Intelligence (L9), Global Banking, Transaction and Payment Systems (L9), SWIFT e-Learning (L9), Advanced Financial Information Systems (L8) and MIS & E-Business (L8). Aidan also serves as Lead Research Supervisor for the DBA (L10), MBS (L9), MSc (L9), BBS (L8) and Workshop Lead in Academic Writing for the DBA (L10).
