Biography
Catherine Wells qualified in the UK at the Somerset School of Nursing as a General Nurse, and then at St George's Hospital London as a Mental Health Nurse. Following this she qualified at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London as a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist in 1987. She holds a PGDip in Care Policy and Management from the London Metropolitan University and an MA in Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy from UCC. Catherine was chairperson of the Scientific Committee of the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapy (South London Branch), overseeing a range of training initiatives for practitioners, workshops and conferences.

Mental health, with a particular interest in practice decision making, CBT and Pyschological interventions with physical health problems
