Biography
Deirdre Barry is a lecturer in the Department of Health, Sport and Exercise Science since 2003. She teaches on the Bachelor of Business Studies (Recreation and Sport Management) and BA in Exercise and Health Studies. Deirdre also teaches on a course run in the Department of Nursing. The course - Certificate in Skills for Independent Living is run specifially for students with Intellectual Disabilities. Deirdre completed a Diploma in Business Studies (Recreation and Leisure), a BA(Hons) in Recreation and Leisure and completed an MA. in Disability Sports Studies at Waterford Institute of Technology
