Biography
Hazel O Brien received my B.A in Sociology and English from NUI Maynooth in 2002, and my M.A in Sociology from NUI Maynooth in 2003. She is currently engaged in doctoral research with the University of Exeter under the supervision of Dr. Katharine Tyler. Her research is an ethnographic study of two Mormon congregations in Ireland. She is particularly interested in exploring their sense of community and belonging, and their experience as a minority religion in Catholic Ireland.
