Biography
Dr. Michael Breen is a lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Life Sciences in WIT and is the programme leader for the BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science. Dr. Breen obtained a BSc. (First Class Hons) in Chemistry at UCD, before completing a PhD in Physical Chemistry at Waterford Institute of Technology (in conjunction with the Materials and Surface Science Institute at the University of Limerick). Since joining WIT in 2000, Michael has lectured at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in areas such as chemistry, environmental science and agricultural science.
