Biography
Dr. Susan Whelan joined the faculty of the School of Business in 2000 and was subsequently appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing. She holds a Ph.D. from Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, a Masters in Marketing from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) in Marketing from Waterford Institute of Technology. She is a brand and reputation management specialist whose research has received an internationally peer-reviewed Government of Ireland Senior Research Fellowship Award. In 2011, she was honored as an Outstanding Awardee of the Irish Research Council (IRC) over the last decade and her research was showcased in the Council’s commemorative book; Mosaic: A Celebration of Irish Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She is a former recipient of the John LePere Award for Marketing from University College Dublin and the Marketing Society of Ireland.
