Dr. Miriam Haran

Biography

External Director and Member of the Board since 2009 Dr. Miriam (Miki) Haran has been serving as an External Director since July 2009. Dr. Haran was previously Director General of Israel’s Ministry of the Environment and is a world expert in the field of environmental protection. She currently serves as Director of M.A.I., a new government approved entity for recycling electronic equipment, and as head of Ono Academic College’s MBA Environmental Management Program as well as the Chair of Israel’s Consumer Council. In addition, Dr. Haran is a voluntary member of the Public Council of Government Fellows, a member of Maala’s Public Committee, Chairman of Maala’s Environmental Committee and a member of the Energy and Environment Committee of the ICC. Dr. Haran received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Brandeis University, and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
