Biography
Ms. Elka Nir serves as Non-Executive External Director of BATM Advanced Communications Ltd. She currently holds the position of director (and chairwoman) of several medical companies, two of which are publicly traded on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange, and is also a venture partner in Giza Venture Capital (in the life sciences field), which has $600 million in assets under management. She has over twenty years’ experience in leading dynamic cutting edge technology organizations and held senior managerial positions in leading global medical and healthcare corporations including Biosense Webster, Johnson & Johnson, GE Healthcare and Elscint. Mrs. Nir holds a BSc degree from the Technion Institute in Haifa in Computer Science (1986) and a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Haifa (1996) and joined the Board of BATM in June 2012.
