Biography
Dr. Gorman has served as a member of our Board of Directors since May, 2015. She serves as Lead Managing Partner at Prosper Women Entrepreneurs, an early stage venture fund focused on women-led businesses. Dr. Gorman founded Advanced ICU Care, the largest telemedicine ICU services provider in the U.S., serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Gorman served at IPC-The Hospitalist Company, a leading national physician group practice, as Chief Medical Officer, Vice President of Medical Affairs and Regional Medical Director. She served as President of Inpatient Care Group, a hospitalist group which she had founded, and which was subsequently sold to IPC. Dr. Gorman also serves on the board of TripleCare and Janus Choice, both privately funded healthcare companies. Dr. Gorman holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry and Biology (Cum Laude) from St. Louis University, an M.B.A degree from Olin School of Business, Washington University and an M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
