Jacob George

Biography

Jacob George is a co-founder of ChemomAb. He serves as a full Professor of Cardiology in the School of Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Jacob is the current director of the Heart Center at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot. He has published more than 300 research papers and has written and edited several chapters and books. Currently, Prof. George serves on the editorial board of fifteen scientific journals. Most of Prof. George’s research centers on the role of the immune system in various inflammatory disorders, and he has been engaged in promoting a series of pharmaceutical products from the bench into clinical trials.
